About the Role
Our client, a thriving coeducational all-through school and sixth form based in Chatteris, is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Primary Phase Teacher to join their committed and welcoming team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant primary department where children are encouraged to grow into confident, curious, and independent learners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in the primary phase (EYFS–KS2), planning engaging lessons, and supporting the academic and personal development of all pupils.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupils’ progress and attainment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events
- Take part in planning meetings, CPD opportunities, and school improvement initiatives
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in a primary setting
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and age-appropriate pedagogy
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching
- High expectations for pupil behaviour and achievement
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
