Office admin assistent
We are a team of 14 ecologists who work over the South of England in counties such as Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Berkshire, Somerset and Surrey.
Following a period of recent growth, we are seeking to fill either one full time, or two part time administration roles, which are fully flexible to meet any hours/days to fit with your life. The position will be largely office based however there is some flexibility for home working when required.You will not be expected to have any knowledge of the ecological sector, but learning on the job will be expected and your admin and organisational skills will be the elements which will make you a valued member of our team.
What you will be expected to do:You will undertake office organisational duties such as filing, answering the phone, typing up minutes of meetings, manage incoming emails, manage stock levels/inventory, and organise any training needs.
You will also be required to assist in the writing up of basic reports, creation of quotations, processing quotes which have been accepted, and then managing the diary of the survey appointments.
You will also be expected to assist with HR responsibilities such as onboarding/recruiting and taking minutes of meetings. Additional responsibilities may be identified as the company grows.
What skills you will have:High level of organisation; Good attention to detail; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Be competent with computers and common software packages such as Gmail, and the Microsoft Office suite of applications including Teams.

Many of us have young families and work flexibly around this, you must have a sense of fun and adventure and we will consider any working hours to fit your life around your obligations.Many of us work 8am to 4pm or work around drop off time at the nursery, and as you will have your own keys you can pick and choose what works for you. Based upon your experience and skills we will pay anywhere between £23,000 and £30,000 per annum pro rata.
