Exciting Opportunity - Library Assistant (Term-Time Only)
Morgan Hunt is thrilled to be working with a fantastic college in the Bedfordshire area! Together, we're on the lookout for a dedicated, friendly, and highly motivated Library Assistant to support student learning and help maintain an engaging and well-organised library environment.If you have a passion for education and enjoy working with students, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
The Role:
️ Job Title - Library Assistant
Location - Bedfordshire
⏳ Hours - Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM (Term-Time Only)
Contract Length - Temporary
Pay Rate - £12 - £14 per hour (depending on experience)
What You'll Be Doing:
✔️ Providing excellent customer service at the library desk.
✔️ Assisting students in finding resources and supporting their study skills.
✔️ Maintaining the administration of the library.
✔️ Keeping the library area clean, tidy, and safe.
✔️ Assisting with Study Skills sessions and one-to-one support.
✔️ Promoting and maintaining resources and equipment.
✔️ Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of students in the library.
✅ What We're Looking For:
A passion for education and student development.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Confidence in using Microsoft Office and digital library systems.
An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy learning environment.
