Information Centre Adviser

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic individual's to work in the College Information Centre, supporting the needs of all our customers. As an Information Centre Advisor, you will carry out a range of administrative tasks such as data entry, editing, interpreting, and analysing data.
You will have experience of working within a busy pressurised customer service environment, including enquiry handling and resolution face to face, over the phone and via email. Having excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to be a great team player.
You will be educated to Level 2 minimum in Maths and English (or the equivalent e.g. GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above). You will have the ability to work accurately under pressure, be organised, meet deadlines and be able to multitask.
A Level 2 IT qualification or equivalent level of skills will be required and the ability to use Microsoft packages effectively, particularly Word and Excel. You will have a flexible approach to working hours, as some evenings and occasional weekend work is required.
