Neway is looking for a Pensions Accountant to join our client based with Bath and North East Somerset Council.
This role is starting on the 4th of November, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, for a 9 month contract.
The Pensions Accounts team do not currently have the resources to manage existing one-off projects which need immediate attention. These one-off projects include:- Accounts team. o Roll out of iConnect and related reconciliations
o Preparatory work around the upgrade of Agresso.
- Investments team o Review processes and make them more efficient + meet audit requirements. Predominantly this work will be undertaken by the Assistant Finance & Systems Manager.
This work is complex in nature and requires an excellent understanding of accounting and related systems.
