Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of a Secondary School based in Barnoldswick. They are looking for a qualified Maths Teacher to join their energetic and inspiring department from September 2025 for the academic year.
The ideal candidate will be available to start from September 2025 and be available to work full-time hours!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to develop a deep understanding of mathematics.
- Support students in achieving their full potential by providing tailored teaching strategies and additional assistance where needed.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and maintaining records in line with school policy.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide events.
- Promote the values of the school and contribute to the broader school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge across the full secondary mathematics curriculum, including GCSE and A-Level.
- A genuine passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of using ICT to enhance learning and support student engagement.
- A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
