The producer oversees a particular production whether that is film or stills projects paying particular attention to detail to budgets, crew and talent including casting and logistics of each production. They will be able to work alone and in teams across multiple projects at the same time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing small and large scale projects acting as the teams delivery manager, motivator and problem solver
  • Overseeing team members and delegating tasks
  • Managing timescales and ensuring projects stay within a designated budget
  • Structuring projects and managing efficient processes
  • Liaising with clients and the creative team to ensure projects run smoothly
  • Have overall responsibility for the effective delivery of high quality work.
  • Signing-off work and checking it is of the highest quality
  • Identify and solve complex project problems with minimal supervision
  • Pro-actively build good team culture and morale
  • Consistently look for opportunities to improve the teams development effectiveness and quality
  • Act as figurehead and ambassador for your teams, building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

A producer requires a wide range of abilities. These include:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working in all creative disciplines
  • A full knowledge of digital production processes
  • An in-depth understanding of both technical and creative processes
  • A proven track record in fast paced environments
  • The ability to push a team to deliver high quality work
  • A pro-active approach to new creative opportunities
  • Significant industry experience
  • Impressive communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to liaising with clients
  • Remains calm and focus under pressure and keeps team moral up when the stress of a shoot takes over
  • Can make a good cup of tea on set
  • Must live within an hour or less drive from the studio
