Are you a dedicated and experienced SENCO passionate about making a difference in primary education? We are seeking a qualified SENCO to join our dynamic team at a primary school in Warwick.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the provision for students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Develop and implement effective strategies to support SEN students' learning and development.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for SEN students.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of SEN students, adjusting support plans as necessary.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on SEN best practices and inclusive teaching methods.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and school policies regarding SEN provision.
Requirements:
- Qualified SENCO with relevant qualifications (e.g., National Award for SEN Coordination).
- Proven experience working with SEN students in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
