Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Research Physician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the coordination and execution of clinical trials, ensuring they are conducted safely, ethically and efficiently.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled physician who is passionate about contributing to the advancement of clinical research. This role is full time and based on-site in our North Tees clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and oversee clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Ensure the medical well-being and safety of all trial participants throughout the entirety of the study.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies, ethics committees and study sponsors to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Provide medical expertise to the research team and assist with their training and development.
  • Data entry and safety reporting.
  • Record keeping must be accurate and legible with great attention to detail.
  • Maintain up to date record of training.
  • Optimise participant retention by developing good rapport and displaying professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to work under own initiative but always as part of the wider research team, maintaining good working relationships.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • GMC registration and licence to practice in the UK.
  • 2+ years post registration experience.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • IT skills would be an advantage.
  • Previous clinical research experience is desirable, but not essential.
