Personal Assistant
Personal Assistant required for a 16-year-old young man who lives in the Bodmin area.
He would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.
He would like someone to support him to build his independence and support him to access his inclusive sport and social clubs. He enjoys the cinema and theatre, live music and tribute bands. He also enjoys gaming.
A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community.
Rate of pay £12 per hour.
Up to 7 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver preferred.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
