Personal Assistant
Personal Assistant required for a lively 11-year-old boy who lives in the Bude/Holsworthy area.
He has ADHD and Global Development Delay, and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.
He would like someone to support him with accessing activities like soft play. He loves being outdoors, going for walks, go carting and gaming.
A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community and with his family.
Good rate of pay £15 per hour.
Up to 6 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
