Personal Assistant
Personal Assistant required for an active and creative 16-year-old, young man who lives in the Launceston area.
He would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.
He would like someone to support him to enjoy activities in his local community, by building his confidence and independence. He likes watching films and visiting the cinema, enjoys creative activities and plays basketball and football.
Good rate of pay £12 per hour.
Up to 8 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver preferred.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
