Business Manager

The post holder will work as part of a team delivering an efficient and effective Business Management Support Service, supporting managers and staff to ensure that their work stream of activities are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.
Key responsibilities will include: Manage the teams business support function, including developing and managing the teams business plan, progress and reporting risk and issue management. Managing financial approvals governance and flows. Liaise with appropriate functions within the Business Management and Support Job Family and key stakeholders of the business.
Manage all corporate business returns, including planning and workforce returns. Take a lead in the coordination of training & development and recruitment activity across the team. To manage the incoming mail and outgoing correspondence, ensuring appropriate distribution and follow up action as required.
Manage the regular cycle of reporting to the team, Board and Executive Committee. Manage own time effectively. The above is only an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. The job holder will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager.
