Bodyshop Quality Controller
Vehicle Polisher / Quality Controller / Workshop Controller – Croydon, Surrey
Due to an internal promotion, our client has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and career minded Vehicle Polisher / Quality Controller / Workshop Controller to join our family-run crash repair centre based in Croydon, Surrey.
Key Responsibilities as a Bodyshop Quality Controller:
- Polishing vehicles after spraying to ensure a flawless finish
- Car washing and cleaning (removing overspray, hoovering, detailing interiors)
- Moving cars around the bodyshop and car park
- Conducting quality control checks, reviewing job cards, and ensuring repairs meet high standards
- Blocking, DA Polishing, and machine polishing a wide variety of vehicles
- Basic IT tasks, including photo uploads and ticking off quality checklists
About You:
- Previous experience in vehicle polishing or bodyshop work is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable with light computer work and handling job cards
- Full UK Driving License (essential)
- Willingness to assist with general tasks around the workshop and keep the bodyshop in top condition
- A team player with a can-do attitude
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Early finishes are common!
