We are recruiting a Business Manager at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Caerphilly Homes Housing Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £52,429 - £57,474 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Caerphilly Homes has an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking individual to join the Asset, Maintenance and Repairs team as their Business Manager. We require a motivated leader who thrives on creating and sustaining a climate of inclusion, trust, and productivity.Attributes of the successful candidate will be Leadership, guidance, patience, good communication, business acumen, persuasion, time management, delegation.
The role is varied, covering supply and supply chain, planning and scheduling workforce, systems support and administration team dealing with all back-office functions. The applicant will be required to guide work efforts toward the most efficient business solutions, making sure all operations run smoothly.
Previous working experience in a Business Manager role achieving/exceeding targets is essential.
For the role, we ask that you have:
A relevant Level 5 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example ILM/NVQ Level 5 in Management, HND.A sound understanding and appreciation of housing, construction/maintenance and financial management.
Able to demonstrate proven senior management experience in a relevant discipline in Local Government or a similar business environment.
