Successful candidates can expect to be involved in a range of the following:
Leading a Business Support team which supports the Responsible Officer (SRO) in the delivery of their objectives, priorities and ensuring that processes are in place to meet the DWP’s statutory responsibilities to staff.
Leading and co-ordinating the SRO’s response to major issues, and events that may be at short notice to tight deadlines, including site BCP and Health & Safety of all staff on site.
Create strong networking arrangements to successfully engage with stakeholders, including (but not limited to) Estates, Facilities Management, Senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of a large strategic hub.
An active member of the Senior Leadership Team in PIP Ty Taf, providing visible and effective leadership not only within PIP teams but across Ty Taf hub.
Providing support to Operational leaders with understanding how metrics are calculated, how data is captured and how to drive deployment and productivity.
Accountable for performance in several diverse specialist areas within their business, undertaking regular performance reviews with colleagues, identifying risks to business performance achievement and opportunities for driving forward continuous improvement.
Lead by demonstrating a strong commitment to your own self-development and the development of others. Ensure your team have the necessary skills, knowledge and capability.
