Admin Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Admin Coordinator to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

As an Admin Coordinator, you will be instrumental in providing support to multiple teams within the academy. Your responsibilities will include managing student data, accurately recording minutes during professional meetings, ensuring compliance with JCQ examination standards, assisting with reception duties, and working in collaboration with the Inclusion Lead, SENDCo, and Exams Officer to enhance provisions for Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure effective and efficient administration support, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • To prepare and distribute documentation, and take minutes, for all meetings as directed by the Senior Leadership Team and HR.
  • To initiate contact with other agencies on behalf of the academy and parent/carers, and to liaise with all parties on a regular basis as directed by the DSL, SLT and LSTL.
  • To maintain positive relationships with team members, parent/carers and outside agencies.
  • To maintain high standards in record keeping, letter and report writing. Assist with a variety of other administrative tasks as required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Be enthusiastic, motivated, focused, professional, personable and resilient.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have an ability to organise and prioritise your work, working to deadlines
  • Be competent in the use of Microsoft packages Word and Excel and Management Information Systems (for example, Arbor).
  • Be able to work successfully with a range of people, including the wider school community
  • Promote the vision and values of Authentic Education at all times
  • Experience in an administrative or school environment (desirable).
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
