About the Role:
A well-established secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their dynamic department ASAP. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality lessons, nurturing students’ practical and theoretical skills, and encouraging a love for food technology.
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to explore the world of food preparation, nutrition, and design. The role will involve teaching students across a range of ages and abilities, helping them develop essential skills for both academic and practical success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Develop and implement a creative curriculum that supports student learning and achievement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.

- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Food Technology or related subject.
- Strong knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum and practical teaching methods.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
