Part Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Burnley

Teaching Personnel is looking for a caring and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Thornton! This is a wonderful opportunity to work 1:1 with a child with speech and language needs, helping them thrive in a supportive environment.
As an SEN TA, your role will include:
- Providing 1:1 support to a child with speech and language difficulties
- Assisting with communication strategies and speech development
- Supporting their social and emotional growth in the classroom
- Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere for the child to succeed
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children with speech and language needs (preferred)
- A compassionate, patient approach to supporting children
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare practices
- Previous experience in a school setting (preferred)
- Access to a range of CPD (Continual Professional Development) opportunities
- Support from a dedicated consultant throughout your assignment
