Job Duties:
The Temporary Teaching Assistant will support the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans, providing one-on-one assistance to students, assisting with classroom management, and helping to create a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths are required. A valid DBS check is essential.
Education:
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, patience, and a passion for supporting the educational development of children.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous.
Working Conditions:
The Temporary Teaching Assistant will work in a classroom setting within a school environment. The role may involve assisting with students with special educational needs. The hours are full-time, Monday to Friday.
