Salary range per annum: £36,705 - £41,466*

The Business Support Team Coordinator will support the Team Manager in delivering the operational services of the team. The Business Support Team Coordinator will be the first point of contact for queries from team members or other stakeholders.

The post holder will play a key role in the completion of full end-to-end processing of organisation critical, business and financial processes.

In this varied role, every day will be filled with possibilities. You will get involved in everything from:
  • Coordinating workload and act as first point of contact for queries and complaints.
  • Compiling reports and analysis on membership income received
  • Mentor and coach staff, assist with recruitment and audit performance.
  • Contribute to projects and develop collaborative relationships
  • Contribute to financial management and identify cost savings
  • Undertaking audits to support membership management

In addition, with the Team Manager, undertake full end to end processing of organisation critical, business and financial processes, ensuring income streams are managed and reconciled in a timely manner.

As the Business Support Team Coordinator, you will be a key part of the high-profile RCN membership team. This post is an ideal opportunity for you to develop your skills in database auditing, people management and financial auditing.

You will also support the department to promote and communicate our objectives, values and policies, as well as helping to support some organisational wide projects whilst influencing colleagues and building relationships.

As well as exceptional customer service, to join us you'll need the ability to use Microsoft Office Packages including MS Dynamics, Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet to a high standard. Your interpersonal skills will be exceptional, as the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be vital.

Your multi-tasking and prioritisation skills will also be highly developed

  • We offer a competitive pay structure with annual pay progression until you reach the top of the salary scale. We normally offer new employees the first point of the salary range, although you may be able to negotiate a higher starting salary depending on your skills, experience and current salary.
We are a diverse organisation and understand everyone has different needs and many of our employees enjoy flexible working enabling them to deliver results whilst having a good work life balance. Our hybrid working model allows for up to 60% of your working time to be carried out from home.

At least 40% of your working time will be spent working in person.
