Senior Business Development Executive (Insurance)
Senior Business Development Executive position aligned to the leading insurance practice of this well recognised global law firm. London with hybrid working of 2 days in a week.
This international law firm are looking for a Senior BD Executive for it’s largest practice area, insurance. The role has a primary focus on marketing and business development activities for their property insurance, construction insurance and professional indemnity groups.
Due to the nature of these groups, the role will have a heavy focused on profile raising through campaigns and events, with the support of a central marcomms team. The role will also have the opportunity to manage a key client relationship, creating a great development opportunity for the Senior BD Executive.And the areas don’t require much bid/pitch support, apart from developing credentials / capability statements when needed, making this a great role from someone who wants to step away from a bid heavy BD role.
There are also lots of interesting projects that this role will be able to spearhead, such as:
- Working on a cross-selling projects, to expand work with key insurance clients into wider practice groups; Managing the Women in Insurance series; Developing the firm’s new next gen programme, focusing on networking for the new generation of talent in the insurance industry.
This role will suit a marketing and BD professional, who’s ambitious and a strong communicator, who would like a role that will give them opportunities in their career development. The firm have an excellent record of progression, so this could really create a pathway to BD Manager.
Candidates will need experience working in legal or wider professional services. Insurance sector exposure would definitely be helpful!
