About Our Client

Our client is a progressive, modern, and growing accountancy practice. They are an independent accountancy practice and offer an impressive range of services to a diverse client base. They are located in Surrey and pride themselves on their supportive and forward-thinking approach.

• Assisting with bookkeeping and the preparation of accounts
• Handling a portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial affairs are effectively managed
• Assisting with tax returns and VAT returns
• Helping with payroll for a variety of clients
• Communicating with clients to resolve queries
• Working effectively within the professional services team
• Managing administrative duties as required
• Studying towards the AAT and ACCA qualifications

The Successful Applicant

A successful Apprentice Accountant should have:

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in professional services, specifically accounting
• A-levels or equivalent education with a good understanding of Mathematics
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive approach to learning and developing new skills
