Administrator/Receptionist

Pertemps is looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join our client based in Westcott.

The role will provide administrative support and Reception duties, acting as visitors' first contact point.

Contract: 3-6 months (with the possibility of becoming a permanent role)

Hourly rate: £15.00 per hour

Working hours: Mon-Thurs 8 am-4:45 pm & Fri 8 am-12

Duties:

  • Provide a professional Reception service.
  • Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors, taking appropriate action using initiative and
judgment.
  • Provide administrative support to the business, including some finance-related tasks like
management of timesheets and annual leave.
  • Liaise with Comms and HSE colleagues to ensure safety standards are enforced for those
entering the building and assisting with displays/events as needed.
  • Screen incoming mail and respond to correspondence and inquiries for all departments, as
directed.
  • Provide other related support as required across the business

Requirements:

  • You must have access to transport due to the location
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills, with experience using Microsoft package and standard accounting software.
  • Good level of numeracy to support basic finance admin tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to welcome and support a wide range of staff and visitors
  • Experience working in Reception, dealing with inquiries/answering phones, etc
  • Understanding of GDPR and the ability to maintain sensitive information in confidence
