About the Role As a Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in securing high-value projects by leading the end-to-end bid process. Collaborating with subject matter experts across estimating, commercial, and legal teams, you will produce compelling, high-quality submissions that address client needs and enhance tender success rates.

- Lead and mentor a Junior Bid Manager, fostering career development.
- Work closely with bid writers to produce exceptional written proposals.
- Manage project planning, deadlines, and production workflows.
- Attend client bid sessions and workshops, as required.
- Develop storyboarding and answer planning strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all bid requirements while maximising quality and impact.
- Write and review bids, ensuring clarity, consistency, and persuasiveness.
- Proven experience as a Bid Manager within Utilities, Civil Engineering, or Construction.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Degree in a relevant discipline.
- APMP Foundation or Practitioner Level (desirable).
