Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Officer based at our corporate headquarters on a hybrid basis in Woking, UK. This role works as the internal Centre of Excellence for communication at TT Electronics, delivering responsive, high-quality Internal Communications service.The Internal Communications Officer creates, develops and manages communication channels, creates compelling content, provides expert advice and works to continually improve the service through identification, evaluation and interpretation of a range of target audiences’ interaction with messages and channels.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and executing a communications plan that drives employee engagement.
Partnering with specific corporate functions on their communication requirements.
Creation of internal comms materials and messaging – written, digital with a focus on engaging and informative content creation.
Supporting the development of recognition programmes and employee surveys.
Managing the company intranet as the single point of truth.
Work alongside the Marketing function so that messaging is aligned for both internal and external audiences.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Candidate Requirements
2 years demonstrable experience in internal communications and staff engagement.
Ability to work with multiple cultures, languages and environments, across different time zones.
Create meaningful content through the use of creative writing.
Experience using a range of media to create content including digital signage.
Able to translate complex and difficult concepts into easy to understand content.
Able to interact with all levels in the organisation with specific experience of dealing with senior stakeholders.
Usage of a corporate management system such as SharePoint.
