  • JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full Time (35hrs per wk)
  • LOCATION: Field Based (ideally Midlands); occasional visit to Head Office in Wembley Park (min. once a month)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Account Manager for Casio, you'll be managing the sales and distribution efforts of our Electronic Musical Instruments (EMI) product range with the UK. Your responsibilities will involve not only managing client accounts but also collaborating with our internal teams to develop marketing campaigns, organise events and promote our products.

You will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and enhancing the customer experience, all while gaining insights into market trends and client feedback.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing and driving sales success for a diverse portfolio of independent retailers.
  • Drive growth by nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers to enhance brand representation and drive sales.
  • Forge strong partnerships with valued retailers by providing tailored sales support, training and expert advice.
  • Business Planning: craft innovative territory business plans that outline clear sales objectives, dynamic promotional strategies and optimal resource allocation to not only meet revenue targets but also enhance our market presence.
  • Training, empowering and equipping store teams with the knowledge they need to seize every opportunity to boost sales.
  • Stay connected with our competitors by observing their activities, market trends and movements both instore and online. Collecting essential insights that will inform our strategic decisions and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Marketing Event Execution: With the support of the marketing team and sales team, plan and execute captivating marketing events, product launches and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Generate accurate sales forecasts and performance reports by analysing critical metrics, delivering valuable insights and strategic recommendations to drive success.
  • Compliance: ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards across all activities within the territory, upholding the integrity and reputation of EMI.

Requirements
  • ESSENTIAL: Proven B2B sales experience ideally within the music retail industry or in a similar client facing role. Demonstrable history of success in account management.
  • ESSENTIAL: Possess a strong passion for music and be an enthusiastic musician! Ideally you must be able to play pianos and keyboards confidently for product demonstrations.
  • ESSENTIAL: Full driving license for the UK, with flexibility to travel across the United Kingdom as required.
  • ESSENTIAL: Demonstrable ability to journey plan and time manage effectively.
  • Proactive problem solver with a talent for building lasting partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adept at understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Resilient and solution focused, adaptable to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Business Suite
  • DESIRABLE: Basic understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies relevant to the musical instrument sector.
  • DESIRABLE: Previous experience in conducting training sessions for retail staff and partners focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service excellence.
  • DESIRABLE: Confident in demonstrating products and producing videos for retailers’ social channels.
