Job Vacancy: Trainer/Assessor – Carpentry & Property Maintenance (Part-Time)
Location: Cambridge, East of England
Contract: Permanent, 3 days per week (22.5 hours)

Salary: £26,825 - £34,600 per annum (pro rata)

A leading further education provider in Cambridge is seeking a Trainer/Assessor to support apprentices in carpentry and property maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to help develop the next generation of skilled professionals while working in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

About the role:

You will provide high-quality training and assessment, ensuring apprentices achieve their full potential. Working closely with employers, you will monitor progress, conduct reviews, and deliver engaging training sessions.

About You:

  • Experience: Industry experience in carpentry or property maintenance. Apprenticeship delivery experience is desirable, but training is available.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organisation, and time management.
  • IT Proficiency: Ability to use digital tools for assessments and reporting.
  • Commitment: Passion for providing high-quality training and supporting learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
