- You’ll deliver communications for the Compliance function, in-line with the bank’s policy and governance
- It’s a role which will see you working closely with senior managers, setting the tone from the top
What you'll do
In this key role, you’ll be designing and delivering a Compliance communications plan, in-line with business objectives and strategy. You’ll deliver internal compliance related communications, employee events and townhalls, all the while leveraging support and advice when applicable.We’ll also look to you to collaborate with other teams, such as C&I and Group Communications, and act as a valued and trusted strategic partner to the senior managers.
Additionally, you’ll be:
- Assisting in the creation of a strategic narrative and plans that support NatWest Markets' overall strategy and connect to the priorities of Compliance
- Identifying key compliance communications priorities through the provision of diagnostic, analysis and decision support
- Reacting to Compliance communications needs as required, providing sound advice, effective solutions and optimal channel selection to deliver the desired outcome
- Driving and drafting compliance content as part of the execution of the wider compliance plan
- Advising on the most appropriate metrics to measure the effectiveness of communications beyond engagement or click rates
- Contracting third party suppliers and managing the costs and services required effectively
- Establishing and deploying robust compliance communications frameworks which meet the strategic needs of the bank
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of compliance risks as well as excellent communications, networking and influencing skills, at a senior level. Additionally, we’ll expect you to have strong project management experience, and experience of managing multiple stakeholders.
You’ll also need:
- Good understanding of compliance and conduct risk and the compliance regulatory environment
- Good working knowledge of different communications tools (e.g. Poppulo), channels and formats that can be deployed
- Excellent creative and innovative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A structured and systematic approach to documenting processes and evidencing that communications have been scoped, drafted and measured for effectiveness in line with agreed processes
