Job title: ServiceNow Integration Specialist
This position involves designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions to ensure seamless data exchange and workflows between ServiceNow and third-party systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ServiceNow integrations, API management, and system architecture.This is a future opportunity with flexible employment options.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Active Directory, cloud services, monitoring tools, etc.).
Work with business and technical teams to gather requirements for integration needs and translate them into effective solutions.
Utilize ServiceNow integration tools like REST/SOAP web services, MID Server, Orchestration, and IntegrationHub to build integrations.
Develop and configure integration workflows using ServiceNow’s integration capabilities and third-party APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow between systems and identify potential issues.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration-related issues to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure integrations align with ServiceNow best practices, security policies, and industry standards.
Develop and maintain integration documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.
Support ServiceNow upgrades and new releases, ensuring integrations remain functional after updates.
Provide training and support to internal teams and end-users on integration processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience with ServiceNow integrations, including ServiceNow REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and Orchestration.
Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, XML, JSON, and web services technologies (REST, SOAP).
Experience with data transformation, mappings, and integration workflows.
In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and integration capabilities.
Familiarity with ServiceNow’s core modules (ITSM, ITOM, etc.) and their integration points.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze integration issues.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
Experience with Cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
Experience with integration tools and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.).
