We have partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) renowned for their expertise in packaging and manufacturing across the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and food-grade product sectors. As the business expand further into the pharmaceutical industry, they have a strong growth strategy with a plan to significantly expand their production capabilities and headcount over the next five years.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join the team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This hybrid role offers flexibility with some weekly on-site presence required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the General Manager of the Newcastle site.
- Selling the diverse services of the Newcastle facility.
- Leveraging experience in liquid manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry.
- The ideal applicant will have both commercial and clinical manufacturing experience, but this isn’t essential.
- Applicants must be based in the Newcastle commutable area, with clients located across the UK and Ireland.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in liquid manufacturing within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong background in both commercial and clinical environments an advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work as the sole BD representative for this particular site.
- Flexibility to adapt to a hybrid working model.
- Driving license and own vehicle is an advantage.
