Deputy Delivery Manager | Barts Health NHS Trust
The Cancer Centre is based at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, with Networked services carried out across the Barts Health Sites. The Cancer Centre also incorporates Palliative Medicine, Breast Surgery and Endocrinology Services. Based at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and reporting to a Senior Operational Manager you will be part of a dynamic team supporting clinical staff and administration staff to deliver high quality services, which are patient-focused, promote good customer service and effective working relationships in Breast Cancer.
The post demands effective communication skills, confidence and diplomacy with the ability to work in a busy environment with challenging deadlines. The post holder will be responsible for a combination of service development and planning, financial management, staff management and provide line management support to the Admin & Clerical team.
The successful post holder will be comfortable and familiar with using data and informatics reports to inform priorities, as well as working with and communicating across a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have experience in leading an administrative team, can demonstrate an ability to deliver sustainable service improvement and has a track record of continually improving quality and patient experience in line with Trust and NHS requirements and standards The post will play an important role in the co-ordinating of patients through their clinical pathway by ensuring that the administrative processes and information are efficient, effective and in line with Trust and NHS referral to treatment (RTT) standards in Breast services.Please read the job description and person specification prior to applying to ensure your skills and experience match the essential criteria.

The post-holder will be expected to deputise for the Data and admin manager and Service Delivery Manager when required.
