Role Overview:
The Account Director will work within the Global Direct Marketing Communications (GDMC) team primarily leading Global Launch Campaigns for the Direct Marketing channels (eDM, Direct Mail and SMS), and driving through overall delivery of these key comms for JLR (Jaguar Land Rover).
You will do this whilst providing guidance and mentoring to other members of the team. Including Account Management, Project Management, Creative, Strategy and In-Market teams involved in the development and delivery of Global Launch Campaigns and Sponsorship Programmes.
GDMC Objectives:
- Increase customer and prospect awareness from Pre-Reveal/Reveal through to Start of Deliveries and repurchase.
- Increase vehicle awareness and consideration through a series of communication touchpoints such as eDM, Direct Mail and SMS.
- Outline best practice and to drive consistency of all direct communications activity globally.
- Review activity and improve the performance and efficiency of our processes and creative assets.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Brand Leads, Launch and Strategy Teams to critique client briefs and develop strategic insights and proposals
- Guiding the creative process including briefings, reviews and approvals with a keen sense for good creative
- Managing campaigns at a senior level with deep appreciation for timelines and critical paths
- Managing, mentoring and motivating junior team members
- Preparing presentations and leading project meetings with clients
- Engaging with Project Managers, Market Leads and internal Accenture stakeholders across the business and keeping relevant parties informed
- Contributing to continued process improvement to ensure successful delivery against SLA with the client
