An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Mental Health Team at HMP Birmingham as a Team Administrator. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated candidate to join our hardworking, but friendly team.
You will receive an environmental allowance of £1572 per annum for working in a secure environment, access to excellent support and development opportunities, and will be part of dynamically evolving service.
The post holder will ideally have a range of administrative and secretarial experience, preferably in an NHS environment, though other administration experience will be valued in this role.
Applicants should have good communication & organisational skills, with excellent typing / word processing ability. You will require a high standard of English. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Email and Power Point are essential. The successful applicant will be able to work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team and be able to respond to working under pressure to meet deadlines.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking a range of administrative and clerical duties and information as and when required, assisting the multi-disciplinary team in carrying out their duties.
To act as the focal point of contact and be responsible for the dissemination of information, messages and enquiries for the Mental Health Multi-Disciplinary team.
To provide cross cover and support to other teams in the event of absence planned or otherwise.
Liaising with multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals and staff within the trust, GP’s, Social workers, Service users, and other appropriate agencies.
