• Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
• Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; confer with President and CEO, COO and department heads on strategic growth.
• Analyze company's financial details to ensure it is legal and compliant, while projecting future revenues and expenses.
• Supervise investment and cash management strategies.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the company's financial goals and budgets.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Implement and upgrade financial systems and processes.
• Lead and support organisational budgeting process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Financial Controller' should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the Business Services sector.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations.
• Experience in managing relationships with banks and external audit firms.
