Marie Claire UK is looking for an experienced Fashion Editor with a talent for storytelling and creating innovative, engaging and inspiring fashion content.

What you'll be doing

As fashion editor they will be responsible for producing highly curated shopping edits, writing a variety of content from breaking fashion news stories and celebrity style to long-form features and interviews. All the while ensuring all content produced is full of personality and reflects the tone of the Marie Claire brand.

The ideal candidate will live and breathe fashion and have the ability to pick out a cult-piece as well as identify emerging trends.

Working with the Fashion Director, they will lead the Fashion offering (on-site and across wider digital touchpoints) to further position MC as a digital destination that is brimming with intelligent, fun and purpose-driven fashion content, featuring the most coveted designers, sustainable fashion businesses and up-and-coming brands.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
  • Minimum 5 years experience writing and creating fashion content
  • Strong knowledge of fashion, cultural trends, brand, social and video
  • Great existing relationships with PR’s, brands, influencers
  • Shoot experience preferable
