Pay Scale: Grade 10 £24,702 - £25,979 per annum

Abbeywood Community School are looking for a committed and flexible Caretaker to join the busy team. This position will be 37 Hours per week, Monday-Thursday 10:30-18:30 and Friday 11:00-18:30.

The Caretaker is responsible for supporting the Lead Caretaker in the safe and efficient running of all aspects of the daily facilities operation at the academy, including aspects of site maintenance, non-structural repairs, heating, ventilation, safety, security and cleanliness.

The successful candidate must have be able to work professionally and independently using initiative and thrive in a busy and demanding role. They willpossess a range of practical skills in order to contribute to the general site maintenance and improvement works and be fit and able to cope with the physically challenging duties of a Caretaker.

They will have excellent organisational/time management skills. They will be able to work logically, resourcefully, proactively, and efficiently. They will be a confident communicator and enjoy building and maintaining successful, professional relationships with colleagues and external parties and have a positive approach to providing excellent customer service.
