An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and fast-growing team within the newly formed Improvement Cymru Programme Management Office.

Main duties of the job
The PMO Team is a busy, high-volume and friendly environment that will suit an organised person with a great eye for detail and plenty of team spirit. Reporting to Senior Project Manager and working with Business & Project team members, you will be adept at managing, supporting and consulting on projects.You will already have experience in project management methodologies and a background in managing complex projects.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria- Educated to Postgraduate Diploma level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Project and/or Project management office qualification, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent experience
- Masters level qualification
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience of management and managing successful projects
- Effective partnership working in the public sector
- Experience of effective stakeholder working with external bodies
- Experience as a formal project manager.
- Experience of working within the NHS
Skills and Attributes
Essential criteria- Developing and monitoring complex project plans
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with Project Boards
- Track record of problem solving in a project management environment
- Competent in the use of desktop applications
- Advanced IT skills in a range of desktop applications e.g., Excel, Power BI
Other
Essential criteria- Travel around Wales, and possibly further afield on a regular basis
- Welsh Speaker (Level 1) or willingness to work towards
