HR Services Specialist

  • Location: Flexible hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home)
  • Salary: £35,000 per annum

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage local new hire, on-boarding, and off-boarding administration processes efficiently, ensuring accurate reporting to external partners.
  • Serve as the first point of contact within the people function, providing confidential support to employees and managers.
  • Administer payroll processes and provide comprehensive benefits information to employees.
  • Ensure all people-related forms, processes, and online filing are updated and GDPR compliant.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of local master data and archiving in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee local people systems to ensure the integrity and accuracy of information.
  • Participate in both global and local People Services projects and initiatives aimed at streamlining and digitalising people processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven generalist HR experience within a matrix organisation.
  • Ability to positively influence internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrable payroll experience in a fast-paced, confidential environment.
  • Collaborative working style that fosters a strong team spirit.
  • Excellent inductive reasoning, planning, and organisational capabilities.
  • Strong process-orientation with a mindset geared towards process improvement.
  • University degree in HR or a relevant subject area.
  • Experience working within a “shared service” organisation is beneficial.
