Role Overview:

  • Teaching Levels: Key Stage 3 & 4

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality computer science lessons across the full range of ages and abilities, from Year 7 to Year 11. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students to develop their skills and interests in computer science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of student needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for computer science.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to support the broader school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teachers: We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and those with more experience.
  • Unqualified Teachers: Candidates with strong subject knowledge and a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification are encouraged to apply.
  • A genuine passion for teaching computer science and the ability to make the subject accessible and exciting for all students.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. A Safer in Education check will be required.
