Role Overview:
- Start Date: September 2024
- Position Type: Full-Time, with potential to transition to a permanent role.
- Teaching Levels: Key Stage 3 & 4
- Location: Andover, Hampshire
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality computer science lessons across the full range of ages and abilities, from Year 7 to Year 11. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students to develop their skills and interests in computer science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of student needs.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for computer science.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to support the broader school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teachers: We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and those with more experience.
- Unqualified Teachers: Candidates with strong subject knowledge and a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification are encouraged to apply.
- A genuine passion for teaching computer science and the ability to make the subject accessible and exciting for all students.
