The Role:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a deep understanding of technology and programming, ensuring students are well-equipped for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver innovative and effective Computer Science lessons
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a robust Computer Science curriculum
- Stay current with advancements in technology and integrate them into teaching practices
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as needed
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Computer Science
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level is desirable but not essential
