Your new role will be working for a highly respected government body with offices across Scotland. This role is based within the Edinburgh area on a hybrid basis.
Your new role
Your role as HR advisor will involve a range of generalist HR duties, including advice on HR policy and employment law, as well as managing all recruitment and onboarding administration. This position will involve working within the People and Development team across Scotland, offering support to a range of managers across the business.Some of the key aspects of this role include -
- You will act as the initial point of contact for all queries on employee relations and recruitment
- Work in partnership with employees or managers at all levels to support them in all matters relating to employment
- Advise on recruitment process
- Manage recruitment and onboarding administration
- Keep up to date with organisational developments
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, it is vital that you have worked in an HR or People Advisor role, and have expert knowledge of UK employment law. You will demonstrate a range of generalist HR experience including Employee Relations. Ideally, you will be CIPD accredited or working towards this.
What you'll get in return
This post will be for an initial 3-month period to cover a peak in workload, and offers a very competitive rate. This role also offers great flexibility and the opportunity to work from home. This post is full time and for 35 hours per week.
