As the Employee Experience and Organizational Effectiveness Lead, you will be a core member of the People Enablement team, responsible for designing and leading efforts to foster Astellas’ culture through enhanced employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
In this role, you will shape and implement initiatives that drive engagement through key “moments that matter” across the entire employee lifecycle. You will also oversee and continuously refine Astellas’ annual employee engagement survey, ensuring successful execution of all related action items to strengthen the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive employee experience strategy aligned with Astellas’ vision, mission, and values, in collaboration with HR and cross-functional partners.
- Oversee employee engagement as a strategic priority, managing the employee listening strategy (including the annual engagement survey) and related initiatives to enhance employee insights.
- Lead cross-functional teams to diagnose organizational effectiveness issues, analyze data, and recommend solutions to address performance gaps.
- Design and implement strategic programs to support Astellas' Employee Value Proposition and engagement initiatives.
- Partner with HR leaders to improve executive, manager, and employee effectiveness through continuous feedback, coaching, and action plans.
- Leverage data and research to identify trends and recommend scalable improvements in organizational and talent processes.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive experience in HR, with a strong background in areas such as Talent Management, HR Business Partnering, or Centers of Excellence (COE).
- Proven track record in leading large, culture-focused transformational projects within complex, matrixed multinational organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in Talent Management disciplines, with a focus on driving organizational effectiveness.
- Familiarity with working in a global, cross-functional environment to influence and implement strategic initiatives.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience leading multi-national employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
- Best Company certification experience.
Education:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
- Preferably with a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- Position is based in the United Kingdom.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our UK office. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
