Management Accountant - Manchester

This presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified management accountant to apply their skills in a fund accounting environment, whilst working in a setting that promotes development, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and analyse financial records across various funds and investment vehicles, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Support the preparation of statutory and investor reports, applying strong management accounting principles to fund reporting
• Produce detailed variance analysis and commentary on fund performance
• Coordinate month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Support NAV calculations and income distribution computations with analytical review
• Work alongside senior team members to streamline processes and enhance reporting efficiency
• Build effective working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong management accounting background
• Previous experience in financial services is advantageous, but not essential
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver results under pressure
• Keen interest in developing fund accounting knowledge
