About this opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity to join the team in Birmingham as a Financial Planning Administrator on an 12 month FTC.

In this role you will assist with the day to day administration for the team, and provide support to senior colleagues dealing with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Communicating with Financial Advisers and clients
  • Preparation and processing of all new client documentation and amendments
  • Monitoring of transfers of assets/cash from other institutions
  • ISA subscriptions and transfers
  • Processing of payments clients
  • Liaising with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts
  • Ensuring client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems
  • General record keeping and electronic filing
  • Adhering to Conduct Risk standards

Skills / Experience:

Experience:

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook preferred.
  • Ability to type preferred but not essential

Skills:

  • Good attention to detail, maintaining accuracy when completing written and numerical based tasks.

  • Takes accountability for own work, with ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales
  • Able to prioritise workload and identify when they need support to achieve goals.
