Our organisation focuses on delivering impactful mental health programmes to schools, community centres, and organisations, to reach and support as many young individuals as possible.
Position Overview:
The Be Free Campaign is seeking a dynamic and passionate Outreach Support Worker and Administrator to join our team. This part-time position (18 hours per week) involves a combination of outreach activities to schools and community organisations, the delivery of wellbeing programs, and essential administrative tasks to contribute to the smooth functioning of the charity.
Key Responsibilities:

Outreach Support:

  • Identify and establish connections with schools and community organisations to promote the Be Free Campaign's mission and deliver on charitable objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, community leaders, and local influencers.
  • Coordinate and deliver wellbeing programs and workshops in collaboration with schools and community partners.
  • Collect and analyze evaluation data to measure the impact of well-being programs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay informed about mental health and well-being trends to ensure the Be Free Campaign remains relevant and effective in its outreach efforts.

Administration:

  • Manage and respond to emails, inquiries, and requests from stakeholders promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in financial record-keeping, including basic accounting tasks, to support the charity's financial management.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of communication strategies to enhance the visibility and impact of the Be Free Campaign.
  • Collaborate with the team in volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in organising and coordinating events, meetings, and other activities related to the charity's mission.

Qualifications:

  • Degree-level experience in a Mental Health Related Field or equivalent experience
  • A passion for mental health and wellbeing advocacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in outreach, community engagement, or related fields is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and experience with financial record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Slack, CRM and basic knowledge of email marketing platforms.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
