Nottingham University Hospitals Trust has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Deputy Medical Director due to retirement. We are seeking a driven individual dedicated to making a difference to patient care and staff satisfaction.
The successful post holder will work to support the Medical Director to deliver high quality care by providing senior clinical leadership capability and capacity. Along with other Deputies, your portfolio will cover to deputise for the Medical Director.You will have the opportunity to hold professional portfolio responsibilities including Quality and Safety, Learning from Deaths, Medicines Management, Risk and Assurance and Clinical Effectiveness.This post is an excellent opportunity for development and of interest to any one aspiring to become a Medical Director.
The Medical Director is supported by a team to include PA support.

We are looking for a proven medical leader with leadership experience at senior level position and with the determination and ambition to work at Board level to improve quality, patient experience and staff experience. Remuneration will be in accordance with seniority on the Consultant contract. The role comprises 5 PAs for the DMD post and 5 clinical PAs for a full time 10PA post with a responsibility allowance.
