Job DescriptionScotland's largest planning authority is seeking dedicated and adaptable enforcement planning officers to join their dynamic planning enforcement team. These roles offer a diverse range of professional responsibilities within the realm of planning enforcement, including the assessment of unauthorised developments and the management of planning applications.

Your role will entail evaluating unauthorised developments, employing a range of tools to resolve cases satisfactorily whenever possible. You'll also provide valuable planning guidance to colleagues, clients, and customers, offering expertise in responding to appeals against enforcement notices and presenting evidence in court as needed.

You will have the opportunity to either lead or contribute to projects aimed at enhancing processes and implementing innovative, efficient practices. Your contributions will be instrumental in helping the enforcement team meet performance targets while actively working to safeguard the city from undesirable development.
