About the Role
We are seeking a Manager to join our Global Mobility Compliance Services Team. This is a full-time role based in the UK and will require some attendance in our London office, normally 2 days per week.
The Compliance services team consists of subject matter experts who are experts in compliance requirements for Tax, Social Security, Posted Worker and Immigration. They are responsible for maintaining the rules database which send alerts to our clients to manage compliance.In addition, they provide tailored compliance services and consultancy to our clients.
Duties of this role will be as follows:
- You will be responsible for maintaining the various Tax, Social Security, Posted Worker and Immigration databases to ensure accuracy of the logic and alerts.
- You will own the release of the social security and posted worker forms.
- Lead the delivery of the SS and PW form service to our clients and new clients.
- Your team of Research consultants will manage, schedule and direct tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- You will review the team’s weekly work and amend all the Master documents to upload into client sites. Experience working with Excel is required and you should have a good understanding of logical statements and using Boolean logic.
- You will attend meetings with clients at presales, design, and planning stage to understand/develop the client’s business process and rule database. You will manage the execution and delivery in accordance with the client’s go live date.
- You will manage and lead UAT testing as and when required.
- You will coach and train your colleagues.
- Be responsible for monthly 1:1s and performance management.
- Responsible for setting team OKRs to meet company OKRs.
- You will monitor legislative updates and make the necessary modifications/additions to the company’s knowledge database & rule base.
- You will act as the subject matter expert. You will have knowledge and expertise of several countries and have a willingness to further expand your knowledge by researching legislation and policy.
- You will report to Director of Compliance services on a weekly basis to provide updates on all tasks in hand.
- Complete updates and audits to the research database ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) is always met.
- You will assist in the production of data to the highest standards and sometimes within strict deadlines.
- Work in accordance with procedures, identify changes resulting from system or client service amendments and proactively provide feedback on enhancements to procedures and working practices.
- Assist with database issues which require immediate action and liaise with colleagues to assist with the resolution of issues.
- Deal effectively and courteously with all requests
- Ensure documentation and resource material is maintained to the highest standard.
- Attend web broadcast meetings from time to time as required.
- Identify and execute opportunities for process improvement.
- Demonstrates speed, agility, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills in their work.
- Identify and drive initiatives to create efficient research process.
Requirements
Skills/experience required- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ Years of management experience.
- Experience with Social security and posted worker forms.
- Previously worked in a Global mobility role or within an equivalent dept in a professional services firm.
- Knowledge of industry, market, and regulatory changes in immigration.
- Proficient in Excel and good understanding of Boolean logic.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Multitasking and managing various projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships and partnerships with clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to retain large amounts of sensitive and confidential information.
- Proven ability to work autonomously.
- Proficient in English.
