Day Shift 8am to 8pm / Night Shift 8pm to 8am

Job Overview

Standby Healthcare are working with an established provider of specialist care for children and young adults. Due to continued growth they are looking for residential support workers to join their experienced team who are dedicated to providing an exceptional standard of care.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Implement and follow care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
Provide childcare support, engaging children in educational and recreational activities.
Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the individual's condition.
Drive individuals to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
Utilise IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.

Experience

Previous experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities, ASD and or complex needs.
Minimum 12 months experience working in Children's Residential
NVQ Level 3 in children's residential is desirable, must be willing to complete

Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with individuals and their families.

A valid driving licence
IT proficiency is necessary for managing documentation and communication effectively.
